Art has a crazy way of changing lives, and it has definitely changed mine! I didn't go down the usual artist route, in fact, I went down the conventional career path that I'm sure you're all too familiar with. After 10 years of working in the Corporate Industry, the pull for creating art took over my life, and, well, as they say, the rest is history.
Since embarking on this journey, I've been lucky to exhibit my art in London and New York.
Using art as a tool, I'm hell-bent on disrupting tradition to drive change, tell stories, and inspire others to inject colour into their lives.
My new era 'Hidden Roots' is here! I'll be delving into my past and my culture, to help me explore and define who I am today.
After spending time with family last summer, I realised I didn't know enough about my roots.
My current focus is on tradition. I'm not good at following orders or traditions. I have my own way of doing things, and through exploring stories of the incredible Hindu Gods, I found myself drawn to wanting to change the narrative of more traditional pieces of art and mix them up with my contemporary, abstract vibe.
